1 Senior Data Analyst

Overview The Data Analytics and Modelling section of the Evaluation and Data branch of the Australian Research Council is seeking an APS6 Data Analyst (1 Senior Data Analyst). The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing and analysing data from various sources, utilising data, code and automation to contribute to complex data analytics projects. These projects include: Research funding policy modelling Research evaluation and metric design Preparation of advanced descriptive statistics Preparation of related forecasts The role involves collaborating with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and senior staff, as well as working with a variety of stakeholders to develop products that meet the ARC's data requirements. The Data Analyst will translate analyses into reports, dashboards and other visualisation content to present findings to diverse audiences. The role will also involve contributing to the design and implementation of data governance, data request procedures, and infrastructure enhancements to improve the ARC's data capabilities.
