This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Finance (ACT) is seeking a Senior SAP BASIS Infrastructure Engineer to join the CBMS BASIS team. The Role The Senior SAP BASIS Engineer role in the CBMS BASIS team is essential in leading the implementation of the CBMS Cloud migration, design, and consultation for maintaining availability and reliability of the SAP landscape. Reporting to the CBMS BASIS Team Lead, the successful candidate will be part of the team in charge of upgrading and managing the SAP instances, including applications infrastructure, integration and performance tuning. This role will involve guiding and supporting the team in system configuration, performance optimisation, and designing robust interfaces between SAP and external systems, particularly SAP BTP, S/4HANA (On-Premise/PCE), and Business Data Cloud. The role's expertise and strategic oversight will be crucial in designing and implementing the SAP landscape and driving the team's success with a complete Cloud migration. The role requires well developed technical skills, stakeholder management and communication skills. This role liaises with technical staff from supporting vendors, the broader Finance technology division as well as internal support and SME staff directly supporting key Finance business users. Role Requirements The role requires operational experience in an SAP environment to support demands in areas including: Comprehensive experience with SAP BASIS operations including FI and FM for S/4HANA (Cash and Funds Management) BI, Crystal, Webi and A4O for reporting (future SAC Analytics and BDC) BCS for consolidation BTP for UI GRC for Role Based Access Control Comprehensive experience with delivering SAP Cloud migrations Familiarity with SAP and Cyber Security Knowledge of SAP security policies and controls Experience in managing user accounts, roles, and authorisations Ability to monitor and audit for security incidents and vulnerabilities Proficiency in developing and testing security patches and updates Understanding of security standards and regulations Familiarity with security tools and techniques Experience in overseeing support for SAP Finance business applications, with previous experience with CBMS highly desirable Familiarity with the ITILv4 framework Monitoring, analysing and delivering within agreed timeframes Collaboration and engagement with customers, vendors and functional leads Instructions to Respondents The Department of Finance will not consider or invite additional sellers to this RFQ.
