About this tender
This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has a requirement for three (3) ICT Project Managers to oversee the delivery of projects within the department's Infrastructure Program Delivery Section within the ICT Services Division (ISD). About ISD is responsible for the management and delivery of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) functions and activities across Australia and overseas for the department. The division provides a secure, modern ICT environment so that the department can conduct its business 24/7 and focus on achieving departmental outcomes. The Infrastructure Program Delivery Section is under a large capital refresh program which aims to maintain the technology environment and reduce severe departmental risk. Objectives The objectives of the Infrastructure workstream within the CapSTAR Program are to: Replace end-of-life infrastructure hardware Uplift operating system and database layer software to the latest endorsed versions Consolidate duplicate wholesale services Standardise similar technologies Enhance cyber security Lower complexity and consolidate and standardise the environment Improve stability, resiliency and functionality for hosted applications and their end-users Avoid unnecessary costs of running hosted server environments The Role ICT Project Managers are required to deliver individual projects and workstream management functions across the Infrastructure workstream within the CapSTAR Program.
