Intranet Redevelopment

This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified supplier to deliver Phase 1: Discovery and Design for the redevelopment of its intranet from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Purpose The current intranet will reach end of life in January 2027 and must be transitioned to a modern, secure and user-centric SharePoint Online solution hosted within NIAA's Microsoft 365 environment. Scope The scope includes: Discovery and assessment activities Stakeholder engagement Requirements validation Information architecture design UX/UI design Governance modelling Security and compliance assessment Implementation planning activities Key deliverables include a future-state intranet design, information architecture, governance framework, migration strategy, implementation roadmap, and detailed recommendations to support future implementation. The proposed solution must be fully compatible with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online and support improved staff access to information, systems, policies, forms, templates and corporate services through a modern, accessible and scalable intranet platform. Contractor Requirements Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint Online intranet solutions Personnel holding, or able to obtain, NV1 security clearances Information Requested A detailed methodology Project approach Resourcing profile Timeline and pricing proposal for Phase 1 Indicative estimates for Phases 2 and 3, for planning purposes only Instructions to Tenderers The broader intranet redevelopment is anticipated to be delivered through three phases: Phase 1: Discovery and Design (subject of this RFQ) Phase 2: Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Build and Implementation Phase 3: Enhancements and Custom Improvements Phases 2 and 3 are not part of the evaluation for this RFQ, and any future work will be subject to separate approval and contractual arrangements.
