Overview The National Environmental Protection Agency (ACT) is seeking a Senior Databricks, Fabric Data Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across the EPA's data and reporting environment, working within the Data and Knowledge Management section. About Data Engineers prepare raw data for analytical or operational uses. They make data accessible so that it can be used for optimisation, delivery of services and enhanced analytics solutions. The Role As the Data, Reporting and Systems Improvement Specialist, the role includes: Developing and maintaining data pipelines, datasets and reporting products Addressing data quality and integration issues Strengthening technical documentation Improving the resilience of critical Databricks and Power BI functions Working collaboratively with APS staff, business areas and ICT specialists Supporting knowledge transfer and reducing key-person dependency
