Overview The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Developer) to work as a Technical Lead in the API Integration team, providing technical leadership and oversight for the department's API and integration platforms. The Role The role includes: Providing technical leadership and oversight for the department's API and Integration platforms Ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable and scalable integration services that support critical business systems and digital services Guiding the design, operation and continuous improvement of enterprise integration capabilities, including API-led and event-driven integration patterns Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards and departmental objectives Supporting both business-as-usual operations and strategic delivery initiatives Providing specialist expertise across Azure technologies, integration platforms, API services, automation and DevOps practices to maintain platform stability, reduce technical risk and enable ongoing digital transformation Providing specialist technical expertise across Azure integration technologies, API services, messaging platforms, security controls and .NET development to ensure the reliable, secure and efficient delivery of integration capabilities that support critical business systems and digital services
