Scope The purpose of the Capability Questionnaire is to establish the feasibility of prospective industrial partners to Space Machines Company Optimus Viper program and Beyond SMC will require maximisation of local content in Australia. Suppliers interested in submitting an EOI will need to manufacture and/or supply to requirements. 1. Design for Manufacturing - shall be processed by the vendor using best practices to ensure the highest resolution feasible for the specimens and that sufficient stock material is added to account for build plate removal. a. Manufacturing constraints such as Practical GD&T, overhangs, and thin walls shall be provided to SMC b. Designers intended to design enclosed pressurised fluid channels within the design 2. SMC is interested in capacity for Dual Material, Multimaterial Printing, Continuous Filament Carbon Fibre (High Modulus) 3. Packaging, Handling, Storage, and. Transportation a. Cleanliness - Part shall be cleaned from debris. b. Labeling - Vendor shall print labels on all specimens notating the build and specimen number.
