Landcom invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Principal Contractors to deliver a portfolio of five affordable housing developments. The portfolio comprises approximately 549 dwellings and will be delivered under a Design and Construct procurement model. Following the EOI process, shortlisted respondents will be invited to participate in Request for Tender (RFT) for individual projects. The first project is scheduled to commence construction in February 2027, with the portfolio targeted for completion by FY29, subject to Housing Australia funding. Landcom is seeking respondents with demonstrated experience in delivering comparable residential developments, strong design and construction capability, financial capacity, and a collaborative approach to project delivery. Interested organisations are invited to download the EOI documentation for further information on the procurement process, evaluation criteria and submission requirements.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
