About this tender
Overview The Bays West Delivery Authority, an agency under the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (NSW), is inviting Expressions of Interest for the Bays West International Design Competition. About The Bays West Delivery Authority has been established as a development corporation under the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974, responsible for promoting, coordinating, managing and securing the orderly and economic development of the Bays West Precinct and Blackwattle Bay Precinct. The NSW Government objectives for the Bays West Precinct are provided in Part B of the EOI documents. Purpose The Bays West Delivery Authority, in partnership with the Government Architect NSW, is seeking bold and innovative ideas that inspire the next generation of Sydney urbanism: connected to the Harbour, fostering wellbeing and inclusion, and creating an exceptional place to live for a diversity of people. Scope The scope includes: Development of design ideas, insights and expertise to unlock the full potential of two key sites at Bays West: Glebe Island and White Bay Power Station precinct Participation from Australian and international designers The design brief for the Bays West Precinct is provided in Part B of the EOI documents.
