About this tender
Overview Wollongong City Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors who wish to be invited to tender for the provision of covert cash collection services from Council's cash-handling sites, including parking meters. About Council collects cash from parking meters and facilities throughout its Local Government Area. Council requires a competent service provider to collect, count, reconcile, and bank its cash deposits through its parking meters, and collect and bank cash from multiple facilities. Scope The scope includes: Covert cash collection services from Council's cash-handling sites, including parking meters Collection, counting, reconciliation, and banking of cash deposits from parking meters Collection and banking of cash from multiple Council facilities Collection of sealed cash bags, cheques, and reconciliation documentation Delivery of collected items to Council's nominated locations Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in providing cash collection services All services must be carried out in accordance with the Transport and delivery of cash and valuable goods Code of Practice 2026 and all relevant legislative requirements
