About this tender

Overview Muswellbrook Shire Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified local service providers to provide indicative pricing and information for the delivery of supplementary booked bulky waste collection services within the Muswellbrook Shire Council area, including the townships of Muswellbrook, Denman and Sandy Hollow. Purpose This EOI is intended to test the local market and identify potential service providers that may be able to assist with additional service capacity from time to time. It is not intended to replace Council's existing waste collection arrangements, and no commitment is made to procure services or enter into a contract as a result of this process. This EOI is a non-binding market sounding exercise only, and the information provided by respondents will assist Council in understanding local market capability, service availability, and indicative pricing for potential future supplementary service requirements. Scope The scope includes: Collection and appropriate disposal or processing of booked bulky waste from approximately 6,000 eligible properties across the Muswellbrook Shire Council local government area Contractor Requirements Hold appropriate insurances for the proposed services Comply with relevant workplace health and safety obligations Possess any licences or approvals required to undertake the proposed services Information Requested Respondents should outline their capability to provide a customer booking system (or integrate with a booking process nominated by Council), indicative pricing on a per-service basis, operational capacity, response timeframes, service area, and any minimum service requirements.
