About this tender
Overview Destination NSW is seeking the services of a Contractor to coordinate and deliver Event Operations Coordinator (Infrastructure and Logistics) Services for Vivid Sydney 2027, 2028 and 2029. Scope The Event Operations Coordinator (Infrastructure and Logistics) supports the Event Operations Manager (Infrastructure and Logistics) in the planning, management and implementation of event operations, working collaboratively with key Vivid Sydney and Destination NSW staff in the engagement and management of Event suppliers and contractors to plan, organise, and deliver the Vivid Sydney operational requirements on time and within budget. The scope includes: Operations coordination across all Vivid Sydney sites and locations, including any applicable third-party precincts Contributing to and supporting Event planning and project management Liaising with relevant suppliers and contractors Coordinating contract management, procurement and resourcing of all suppliers and contractors Contributing to relevant operational policies, procedures, plans and other documentation Site coordination to ensure operational aspects are delivered in line with run sheets and planning schedules Facilitating and coordinating relevant development applications, landowner consents, compliance approvals, licences, permits and other documentation Managing the coordination of the Event Control Centre during the festival period Co-ordinating and overseeing the operational delivery of sites and locations that are produced and operated directly by Destination NSW, while ensuring appropriate guidance to, and seamless integration of, any applicable third-party produced or operated precincts The position reports to the Event Operations Manager (Infrastructure and Logistics), Vivid Sydney.
