About this tender
Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW) is inviting Expressions of Interest from qualified professionals seeking appointment to the NABERS Embodied Carbon Independent Design Review panel for the period 2027 to 2030. Purpose The panel supports the NABERS Commitment Agreement process, which enables new or refurbished buildings to commit to achieving a specific NABERS Embodied Carbon rating following construction. Scope The scope includes: Conducting Independent Design Reviews to inform the designers and developers of a building as to its likely upfront embodied carbon and the risks associated with their proposed building design and model Where required, demonstrating to NSW DCCEEW (NABERS) that a building is an appropriate candidate for a Commitment Agreement Where required, demonstrating to a third party, such as a client or regulatory authority, that the proposed building can realistically be expected to achieve a given rating Enquiries Contact: Ryan Flack Email: nabers@environment.nsw.gov.au
