About this tender

Overview Ballina Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced commercial printers to receive an invitation to quote to print and deliver Council's "Community Connect" magazine. Scope The scope includes: Printing and delivery of Council's "Community Connect" magazine, with a print run of 20,000 copies, six times per year Publication Schedule Editions published in February, April, June, August, October and December Receipt in Ballina required within one week of artwork file upload (for example, if Council provides artwork on a Friday, delivery is required by the following Friday) Publication Specifications Finished size: A4 (210mm x 297mm) Binding: double staple, magazine format Paper stock: minimum 56gsm (currently printed on 58gsm LWC gloss), FSC approved and recycled if available Printing: full-colour CMYK using soy-based inks 24 pages per issue Delivery Requirements Bundled and strapped, 50 copies per bundle 4,500 copies (90 bundles) packed on a single pallet for bulk distribution 15,500 copies (310 bundles) palletised for hand delivery Delivery to Ballina NSW 2478 to be made using a tail gate lifter, lift truck, or on board pallet jack, as there is no forklift onsite Delivery contractor to discharge pallets and place them on the adjacent flat concrete surface Contractor Requirements Suitably experienced commercial printer
