About this tender
Overview The Hills Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake communications infrastructure works at the Hillside Rural Fire Service (RFS) site. The required works are outlined in the scope of works and attachments, with the extent and boundaries of the works defined in the accompanying plans and drawings. About The Hills Shire Council maintains the building located at the RFS station where the work will be undertaken. As part of the Hills Shire Council Capital Works Program for 2026/27, the existing communications equipment mounted on the lattice tower will be decommissioned and new equipment will be installed on the drying pole adjacent to the building. Works will be undertaken at an appropriate time to minimise disruption to the use of the building by Hills Shire Council staff, tenants and the general public. The project is anticipated to be completed within the 2026/27 financial year. Scope The scope includes construction works comprising communication devices, cables and conduits, as follows: Supply and install 1 x RFI SMD4-67 Dipole Antenna (400-52MHz) Supply and install 1 x RFI SMD2 Dipole Antenna (148-175MHz) Supply and install 1 x VHF Collinear Antenna (144-175MHz) Mounting of all equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and/or using structurally certified fixings suitable for attachment to the drying pole Supply and install cables, conduits, cable trays, pits and earthing connections to connect new communication devices to existing RFS communication devices Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in undertaking communications infrastructure works Contract Terms and Conditions The project is anticipated to be completed within the 2026/27 financial year
