About this tender

Overview Local Land Services (NSW) is seeking pest animal contractors for a statewide NSW panel covering trapping, baiting, shooting, monitoring and other vertebrate pest management services. About Local Land Services (LLS) is establishing a statewide panel of suitably qualified, experienced and equipped contractors to support the delivery of vertebrate pest animal management activities across NSW. The panel will provide LLS with access to a broad range of contractor expertise and services to support invasive species projects and operational delivery across the state. Contractors can nominate for one or more service categories based on the services they provide, their qualifications, experience and capability. Contractors can also identify the LLS regions and/or geographic areas in which they operate, so they are only considered for work in locations they are able to service. Purpose The project aims to improve statewide access to suitably qualified pest animal contractors, make it easier for LLS teams to identify and engage the capability they need, and support more consistent delivery of pest animal management activities across regional boundaries. In addition, LLS will establish a statewide contractor list to help landholders identify providers offering vertebrate pest animal management services on a private, fee-for-service basis. The intended outcome is a practical statewide resource that supports both LLS program delivery and improved access to pest animal management services for landholders. Scope The opportunity covers a range of vertebrate pest animal management services to support Local Land Services invasive species programs and projects across NSW. Contractors may nominate for one or more service categories based on the services they provide, including: Baiting and fumigation Trapping and humane destruction Ground-based shooting operations Monitoring, camera trapping and thermal surveys Community liaison and training Construction and installation of large animal traps Contractors are not required to provide all services or operate statewide. As part of their response, contractors can identify the service categories they offer and the LLS regions and/or geographic areas they are available to service. Contractors may nominate for appointment to the LLS statewide contractor panel, inclusion on the separate landholder contractor list, or both. Successful panel contractors may be engaged by LLS to support pest animal management activities as required, with individual work opportunities varying depending on project requirements, location and the services required. How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
