Market engagement for procurement of Network Switching, Firewall Security Hardware, Software and Services

Overview NSW Telco Authority is undertaking market engagement for the procurement of network switching and firewall security hardware, software and services. The opportunity covers the supply, delivery and implementation of Cisco network switching hardware, software and support, Palo Alto Networks firewall/security hardware, software and support, and associated professional services. Purpose The NSWTA Site Deployment will provide the required network switching, firewall/security, software support and professional services to support site establishment, resilience, and operational continuity. The solution provides a scalable design aligned to SOCI, Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and NIST requirements. Scope NSW Telco Authority requires a supplier to supply, deliver and implement the required Cisco network switching hardware, software and support, and Palo Alto Networks firewall/security hardware, software and support, together with the associated professional services required to install, configure and migrate this scope to support the NSWTA Site Deployment. The scope includes: Developing a comprehensive low-level design that aligns to the approved HLD and binding architecture principles for the wired and wireless production network, including Cisco switching, Cisco wireless, Palo Alto firewall security gateway design, MPLS connectivity integration, topology, IP addressing, VLANs/security zones, routing, firewall policy, authentication, resilience, cabling, rack layout and implementation sequencing Supplying all required network, security, wireless, management, licensing, support, optics, cabling, rack accessories, installation materials and peripherals required to deliver the approved production solution Staging, asset-labelling, licensing, updating, baselining, pre-configuring and testing equipment before site deployment where practical, and providing staging records and configuration evidence before installation Installing, configuring and commissioning the production wired network, including Cisco switching, routing, Palo Alto firewall connectivity, MPLS integration, segmentation, authentication and agreed security controls Designing, installing, configuring and commissioning the Cisco production wireless network, including access points, controller, SSIDs, authentication, segmentation, radio settings and operational validation, including predictive wireless survey/modelling before deployment and post-deployment validation surveys using Ekahau or an equivalent industry-standard wireless survey tool, with survey outputs provided as acceptance evidence and as-built documentation Integrating the network with the upstream MPLS network and required identity services, and supporting planned cutover, migration, rollback and validation activities required to place the environment into production Preparing and executing test plans covering wired network services, wireless services, segmentation, firewall policy, authentication, resilience, failover and performance, and providing test evidence and defect closure records Providing final as-built documentation, including logical and physical diagrams, rack elevations, cable matrix, IP addressing, VLAN/security zone mapping, configuration records, licence/support records, wireless settings and test results, provided as PDF documents and in editable original project file formats such as Word and Excel documents, original Visio drawings and Ekahau Site Survey project files Providing operational handover to NSWTA support teams, including knowledge transfer, administration procedures, support contacts, warranty and support information, known issues, runbooks and transition-to-support documentation Enquiries Contact: Dhara Krunal Modi Email: dhara.modi@customerservice.nsw.gov.au Phone: +61266482096
