Overview Narromine Shire Council is seeking Requests for Quotation (RFQ) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake asphalt overlay and mill and fill works on part of Moss Avenue, Payten Close, and a small section of Algalah Street in Narromine. Council seeks a level of detail in quotations sufficient to allow the works to proceed to contract. Scope The scope includes: Asphalt overlay and mill and fill works along the kerb on Moss Avenue, Payten Close, and a small section of Algalah Street, Narromine Minimum 50mm asphalt overlay (wearing course) over a total estimated area of approximately 2650 m² Shape correction where the existing surface requires it, restoring crossfall to between -2% and -3% Milling down at the kerb edge where required to achieve an asphalt depth of 50mm, aiming to leave the asphalt 5 to 10mm proud of the lip of the kerb Council will provide any required gravel, traffic control, and haulage. Works are planned to occur in October/November 2026.
