Overview NSW Public Works, on behalf of Armidale Regional Council (the Principal), is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant as Principal Design Consultant (PDC) for the New England Rail Trail, Armidale to Ben Lomond project. The engagement covers the Concept Design and Detailed Design for the rail trail alignment, including management, coordination, planning and supervision of all activities and subcontractors. Purpose The proposed project is to convert the currently disused railway corridor between Armidale and Ben Lomond, New South Wales, into a rail trail. Scope The scope includes but is not limited to: Project management activities including document review, delivery plan, meetings and status reporting Concept design development, including site investigations and draft concept design documentation Geotechnical investigations for detailed design documentation (Issued for Construction) sufficient for a Construct Only construction contract Preparation of Issued for Construction documentation Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced consultant to act as Principal Design Consultant (PDC) for the project Instructions to Tenderers To receive notifications about this opportunity (addenda, notices etc.), suppliers must either save the opportunity to their dashboard or have started a draft response.
