About this tender
The NSW Government committed in 2021 to transitioning the government fleet of passenger vehicles to electric by 2030 as part of the NSW Electric Vehicle Strategy. https://www.energy.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2022-09/nsw-electric-vehicle-strategy-210225.pdf Specifically, the Government set out goals to have 50% of newly purchased/leased passenger vehicles to be electric by 2026 and 100% of newly purchased/leased passenger vehicles to be electric by 2030. Achieving these targets requires Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to be set up at vehicle base locations such as NSW Government sites and depots. The NSW Government Electric Vehicle Fleet Charging Infrastructure Prequalification Scheme SCM13381 (“Scheme”) is open to applications from companies seeking to be prequalified to deliver Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Goods, Works and Services under Capability A. Capability A - Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Goods, Works and Services (as defined under the Scheme Conditions). Applicants must accept the Scheme Conditions and satisfy all requirements as a condition of prequalification under the Scheme. Prequalification under the Scheme is not a guarantee of work, continuity of the inclusion on the Scheme, receipt of opportunities to make submissions; or that engagements or work of any kind or quantity will be offered. The Scheme will be open for an initial term of three (3) years. The information displayed below is a read-only version of the application process. The Applicant is to follow the below Scheme pre-qualification steps to submit a valid application: • Buy.NSW Supplier Hub Registration Applicants must have a current Supplier Hub profile on the buy.nsw website, before applying to this Scheme. Applicants can create a Supplier Hub profile at https://suppliers.buy.nsw.gov.au/login Once an Applicant’s profile is approved, they may then continue to apply through eTendering. Complete the relevant questionnaire in this online application by providing the information requested and submit all the requested supporting documents. • Submit your application.
