Overview The Department of Home Affairs (ACT) is seeking one (1) Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer to support the implementation, management and retirement of infrastructure that underpins digital services. The Role Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire infrastructure, including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure, that supports digital services. The Data Centre Design Field Infrastructure Engineer role plans and builds core IT or digital systems. The role includes: Designing, building and maintaining systems and network infrastructure as required Designing secure, reliable and scalable network, cloud, or server environments Role Requirements Strong background planning and building safe, high-power, and reliable facilities for computer servers and cloud networks
