Overview The Council of the City of Sydney invites suitably qualified and experienced Quantity Surveying consultants to submit a Tender for the provision of Quantity Surveying Services for the Town Hall House Workplace Project. About Town Hall House is the City's primary administrative building and a significant civic asset, located adjacent to Sydney Town Hall at the corner of Kent and Druitt Street. The building was originally designed by Ancher, Mortlock & Woolley and completed in 1977, and has undergone a number of upgrades since then to support evolving workplace and operational requirements. Purpose The Town Hall House Workplace Project will deliver a comprehensive fit-out guide and support the design and delivery of staged workplace upgrades to create a contemporary, flexible and future-focused workplace environment. The Project will deliver a fit-out guide and stage upgrade works to selected levels to improve functionality, consistency and staff experience. Scope Provision of Quantity Surveying Services for the Town Hall House Workplace Project Cost planning, estimating and commercial management for the project Contractor Requirements Demonstrated capability in cost planning, estimating and commercial management for complex workplace refurbishment projects within occupied buildings and constrained urban environments Instructions to Tenderers Any proposed contract amendments need to be submitted no later than 10 business days prior to the Closing Date of the RFT for consideration by the City.
