Overview Singleton Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the works associated with delivering a new Changing Places accessible amenities facility at Rose Point Park, Rose Point Road, Singleton NSW 2330. About Located at the gateway to the Hunter Valley vineyards and surrounded by national parks, Singleton was founded on agriculture, driven by coal and sustained by the Hunter River. Singleton is home to a population of approximately 24,000 who enjoy diverse food and wine, industry, history, sports, and art and culture. Scope The scope includes: Construction of a new standalone Changing Places accessible amenities facility within the existing Rose Point Park playground area Connection of the new facility to the current footpath network Provision of an accessible changing room and toilet fitted with specialist accessibility equipment, including a ceiling hoist, height-adjustable shower/change table, accessible toilet, and accessible shower facilities Contractor Requirements Contractors must be suitably qualified to undertake the works Instructions to Tenderers Tender documents can be downloaded via Singleton Council's Tenderlink e-tendering portal after registration has been completed. Completed responses can only be submitted via the electronic tender box provided in the format set out in the Conditions of Tendering. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated, upon completion. In preparing and submitting their tender, and without limiting the tenderer's obligations, the tenderer shall submit a tender that includes all schedules, including the Tender Form and any other required declaration, filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information, and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed, nor engage in any form of collusive practice, nor directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed, or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender, or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful tenderer as it sees fit.
