About this tender
Overview Northern Beaches Council invites tenders for the provision of Parks and Reserves Mowing Services. About Northern Beaches Council covers an area stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, encompassing more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community and is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance quality of life, promote sustainable development, and protect the environment. Scope The scope includes: Grass maintenance services across Council-owned and managed parks, reserves, rights-of-way, and road verges Delivery of services in accordance with the specified maintenance schedules and mowing frequencies applicable to each site Sites have been grouped into six (6) geographic zones aligned with Council's operational structure. Tenderers may submit offers for one or more zones, indicating their preferred areas of service delivery. Council reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the final allocation of zones and sites to successful contractor(s). Contract Terms and Conditions Initial contract term of three (3) years Option of two (2) additional one (1) year extension periods at Council's sole discretion Information Requested Submissions will be assessed against the following criteria and weightings: Demonstrated experience of the Tenderer (Schedules F3 and F5): 25% Demonstrated experience of Personnel and Subcontractors (Schedules F10 and F11): 15% Proposed Methodology, including QA (Schedules F7 and F14): 30% The Fee, including Schedule of Lump Sum Fee, Schedule of Rates and Materials, Schedule of Rise and Fall and Other Fees (Schedule of Fees): 30% Instructions to Tenderers Full tender documents are available for download at a cost of $75.00 (Inc. GST). Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099.
