About this tender

Overview Inland Rail Pty Ltd (IRPL) has an upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) opportunity, anticipated to release in September 2026. IRPL will be inviting Tender Submissions from suitably qualified, capable and experienced Contractors (Applicants) with demonstrated expertise in signalling designs and the successful delivery of construction works on major transport and/or infrastructure projects. The successful Contractor will manage and deliver signalling designs and construction works in NSW as part of the Inland Rail Program. About IRPL has been established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) to facilitate the delivery of the Inland Rail Project and meet Australia's ongoing freight and supply chain demands. Scope The anticipated scope comprises signalling designs and construction works to support infrastructure upgrades within the Parkes region and other locations within New South Wales, subject to final project approvals and procurement planning. The final project scope, locations and delivery model are currently being developed and may be refined following this ROI. The scope includes: Signalling, civil and structural design services associated with signalling works, carried out within operational rail environments Preliminary and Issued for Construction (IFC) designs Construction, testing and commissioning activities Associated procurement, project management, systems assurance, and interface management services Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified, capable and experienced Contractors with demonstrated expertise in signalling designs Demonstrated successful delivery of construction works on major transport and/or infrastructure projects
