Overview Kempsey Shire Council is seeking to establish a panel or standing offer arrangement for the supply, fitting and delivery of passenger, truck, small plant and large plant tyres, including tubes and recaps, together with roadside assistance, callout services and related tyre support services. Purpose The arrangement allows Council to purchase tyres at set pricing without obtaining individual quotes and provides clear direction for Council staff to access tyre related roadside services outside of business hours. Objectives The arrangement is intended to provide Council with: Consistent pricing for tyre supply and services Reliable access to tyre services across the LGA Clear requirements for after-hours and roadside support Improved contract management through agreed rates, purchase order controls and monthly reporting Scope The scope includes: Supply and delivery of passenger, truck, small plant and large plant tyres Fitting of passenger, truck, small plant and large plant tyres Supply and fitting of tubes and recaps Provision of roadside assistance and callout services Provision of related tyre support services Contractor Requirements Sufficient service vehicles to support the contract After-hours callout capability Qualified tyre fitters and subcontractors Suitable response times within the Kempsey LGA Ability to supply available stock of Council's commonly purchased tyres for Council's passenger fleet, light and heavy trucks, and plant vehicles
