Overview Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders from Proponents with the intent to form a Panel of up to four (4) Suppliers for the Supply and Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete to Council work sites across the Central Coast Council's Local Government Area. Purpose The purpose of this Request for Tender is to establish a panel of up to four (4) Suppliers for the Supply and Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete. The number of Suppliers that form the Panel may vary depending on the number of conforming responses from the Market. Scope The scope includes: Supply and delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete to Council work sites across the Central Coast Council Local Government Area Supply and delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete when and as required by each area of Council's business, in accordance with the Panel's established ranking and availability Background Suppliers will be ranked based on the most competitive offer established by Council during the evaluation of tenders, in accordance with the evaluation of both the priced and non-priced weighted criteria. Work will be issued to the Panel of Suppliers by Council's various areas of business in accordance with the Panel's established ranking and their availability to supply and deliver the Ready-Mix Concrete when and as required. Contract Terms and Conditions Contract period of 2 years Extension option of 1 x 1 year at Council's discretion, subject to the performance of the Contractors over the initial two-year period and Council's business requirements Instructions to Tenderers Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering a Contract with the preferred Tenderer. Council may, in its absolute discretion, either accept the Tender that, having regard to all the circumstances, appears to Council to be the most advantageous, or decline to accept any of the Tenders.
