Overview Transport for NSW is seeking proposals for a Point to Point Vehicle Monitoring Solution (P2P VMS) to support the Point to Point Transport Commissioner, who is responsible for regulating the Point to Point transport industry in NSW. This industry includes taxis, rideshare, hire vehicles, tourist services, and other vehicles with 12 seats or less including the driver that provide passenger transport services for a fare. Purpose The procurement is intended to improve public safety, provide useful information to NSW customers, and support evidence-based compliance and regulatory activities. Scope The scope includes: Provision of a solution to support monitoring and analysis of activities at taxi ranks and related Transport locations, using video analytics, artificial intelligence and associated technologies Supply of software for the P2P VMS Provision of support services, maintenance and ongoing operational capability requirements Contractor Requirements Proponents' capabilities should relate to the following: Artificial intelligence and machine learning Video analytics Automated number plate recognition Data platforms and reporting Managed services and systems integration Instructions to Tenderers This RFP sourcing event will be managed using TfNSW ARIBA.
