Vivid Sydney 2027 - Freight Delivery Services

Overview Destination NSW is seeking responses and a line itemised quotation for the provision of Freight Delivery Services for Vivid Sydney 2027. Purpose Vivid Sydney is well established as a core component of Destination NSW's program of events. This procurement is seeking an experienced and qualified specialist service provider to deliver freight delivery services for Vivid Light 2027. Scope The Vivid Sydney Freight Services Contractor(s) will work collaboratively with the Production Manager, Vivid Light, Technical Manager, Vivid Sydney and Production Coordinator, Vivid Light to support the planning, organisation, and coordination of effective and safe delivery to and from the Vivid Sydney footprint. The scope includes: Delivery of Freight Delivery Services in keeping with relevant Australian Standards and relevant Customs and legislative requirements Liaison with Vivid Light Artists and provision of freight advice and assistance where required Provision of suitably qualified and experienced labour required to successfully transport and deliver the Freight Delivery Services Provision of turnkey Freight Delivery Services for several light installations, large-scale activations and lighting/projection treatments from international, interstate, and local Sydney area locations, delivering to Sydney CBD and returning to export location Communication and coordination with Vivid Light Artists to prepare schedules, and confirm pick up and drop off locations Delivery to Sydney CBD via trucks, individual crates or shipping containers, dependent on site delivery requirements Provision of container hire, temporary storage solutions, CSC Certification and load/unload labour as required Provision of sea, air, rail and/or road delivery depending on pack dimensions, weights and available timelines Responsibility for Customs obligations and legislative requirements regarding importing and exporting goods to and from Australia Communication and coordination with Light Artists to prepare any ATA Carnets and temporary import permits as required Provision of freight insurance products alongside delivery services Provision for cross loading of containers or crates (the Light Artist will securely pack items into crates or packaging units) Delivery from Light Artist location to Contractor warehouse as required (many Light Artists will not have the warehouse space available to pack containers) Enquiries Primary contact: Rochelle Kirk Email: rochelle.kirk@dnsw.com.au Phone: 02 9931 1111
