Overview The Department of Housing, Local Government and Community Development (NT) is administering the 2026/2027 Barkly Regional Deal Local Community Project Funds, known as the Local Community Projects Fund (the Fund). The Fund is available to Aboriginal communities and homelands outside Tennant Creek and within the Barkly Local Government Area for low cost, high impact projects and initiatives that align with community priorities and aspirations. About The Barkly Regional Deal was signed on 13 April 2019 (the Barkly Deal), a 10 year collaborative commitment between the Recipient, the Territory and the Commonwealth. A key project of the Barkly Deal is the establishment of the Fund, to be co-funded and managed by the Recipient. Funding This opportunity relates to Round 1 of the Barkly Local Community Projects Fund.
