Overview Arafura Rare Earths Pty Ltd is seeking a contractor to design, supply, construct, commission, operate, and maintain a concrete batch plant at the Nolans Project's process plant site. Scope The scope includes: Design, supply, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a fully functional concrete batch plant at the Project's process plant site, capable of producing not less than 60 m³/hour Supply of premixed concrete (circa 30,000m3) to the project civil work contractors Delivery of all concrete mix types required, including structural, special-class, and blinding mixes, to be further defined in the scope of work Maintenance of a quality control system for the performance and delivery of the concrete, including inspections and testing of concrete batches as necessary to meet the Company's requirements Supply of competent management, supervision, QA/QC, labour, PPE, tools and machinery, materials, concrete batch plant, concrete transport plant, consumables, testing devices, and temporary facilities Transport of concrete within the Site and to and from areas outside the plant site Delivery of concrete to the project's civil work contractors on a commercial arrangement between those parties and the concrete supplier, at an agreed unit rate per cubic metre inclusive of materials, batching, labour, plant operation, delivery, quality control, testing, overheads, and all associated costs necessary to deliver the concrete to the work-front Contract Terms and Conditions The establishment of the concrete batch plant(s), including all associated equipment, instrumentation, storage, handling systems, and ancillary facilities required to commence manufacture of concrete in accordance with the Project requirements, will be a separate contract between the Company and the concrete supplier.
