The Central Land Council (CLC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of a new multi-storey office extension and staged refurbishment of existing facilities at 27 Stuart Highway, Ciccone NT 0870 (Alice Springs). The project includes a new multi-storey office wing (structural steel frame, composite floor system, full mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services), undercroft car parking, 100kW solar array, landscaping and external works, and staged renovation of the existing building delivered as separable portions under the same contract. Contract form: AS4000-1997 General Conditions of Contract (as amended) - Construct Only, Lump Sum. Estimated construction period: Approximately 18 months (new facility) plus approximately 4 months (existing building refurbishment works, staged). Indigenous Procurement: Strong Indigenous procurement and participation requirements apply, aligned with the Commonwealth Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP). The full RFT document package - including drawings, specifications, pricing schedules, and draft contract - will be made available following completion and return of the Expression of Interest and Confidentiality Agreement.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
