Darwin Region - Melville Island - Pirlangimpi Road - Upgrade and Seal

Overview The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (NT) is seeking a contractor to upgrade and seal approximately 15km of unsealed road on Pirlangimpi Road, Melville Island, in the Darwin region. Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to: Upgrade of unsealed road to a sealed single carriageway standard from Ch 31800m to 46811m Installation of reinforced concrete box culverts and pipes at various locations Road re-alignments at various locations Construction of intersections and light vehicle accesses at various locations Tie into existing sealed road near the 'Threeways' intersection Construction of roadside drainage and protection works Spray sealing (14mm primerseal / 7mm S10E) Pavement marking and installation of road furniture, including road safety barriers Gravel transition to the existing unsealed road from Ch 31500m to 31800m Rehabilitation of site, including all disturbed areas such as old road alignments, gravel pits, campsite, laydown areas, access roads and turn-around areas Works between Ch 30300m and 31500m, including Access 20, are not included in the Contract.
