Overview Central Desert Regional Council is seeking a contractor to demolish and remove the existing community store at Pmara Jutunta. About Pmara Jutunta Community is located approximately 200 kilometres north of Alice Springs along the sealed Stuart Highway in Central Australia. Scope The scope includes: Demolition and removal of the existing community store located at Lot 2, Jungala Road, Pmara Jutunta, in accordance with the contract documentation Identification, removal, handling, transport and disposal of all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) identified within the existing structure Leaving the site in a clean, stable, safe and compliant condition suitable for future use Contractor Requirements Asbestos-containing materials must be removed, handled, transported and disposed of by appropriately licensed contractors Works must comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, codes of practice and safety requirements Works must be undertaken safely and efficiently
