About this tender

Supply all supervision, labour, materials, plant & equipment to execute and complete the Operable Walls Package in accordance with the contract, specification and drawings and in accordance with the builder’s construction program. The subcontractor works include, but are not limited to the following: Supply all necessary plant, equipment including access equipment, labour and the like for the manufacture, supply, delivery and installation of all operable walls to the New Henbury School project inclusive of but not limited to all acoustically rated operable wall panels including pass through doors with associated hardware including flush D-pull handles and key lock, with natural clear anodised frames and track, 100mm aluminium kickrails to all panels, full height fabric finish, top and bottom operable seals, with all operable walls utilising a remote stacking system to enable storage in adjacent cupboards or stage wing, as specified. Provide copies of relevant documentation and test certificates confirming that the installed operable walls achieve the specified Rw ratings – Operable Walls to Admin to be Rw 45 and to Multipurpose Hall Stage Rw 47. The finish to the 2 x Admin Operable Walls is to be Autex Composition pinboard – colour to be Pin.01 Silver and finish to the Multipurpose Hall Operable Wall is to be Autex Vertiface non pinable– colour to be Silver. The subcontractor is to ensure that any installed pass doors and associated hardware are suitable for use by people with disabilities and meet the necessary requirements of AS 1428, parts 1, 2 and 3 for access and use by people with disabilities. Operable wall installers to fix track to undrilled steel – primary support steel to be supplied and installed by others. Supply and install all necessary secondary support for the operable walls, as required. The unloading and movement of the delivered operable wall systems on site will be undertaken by DCOH. However, the subcontractor is to provide a representative at the time of each site delivery, to check and verify that the supplied items have been received undamaged and are as ordered. The representative should also be present to oversee any movement of the operable walls across site, to the location of the installation.
