PM020 - Tanks FRP - Nolans Project

Overview Arafura Rare Earths Pty Ltd is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Package PM020, Tanks FRP, in connection with the Nolans Rare Earths Project in the Northern Territory. About Arafura Rare Earths Limited is an Australian, ASX-listed company (ASX:ARU) focused on the responsible future production of the rare earths elements Neodymium and Praseodymium (NdPr) and heavy rare earths from its Nolans Project in the Northern Territory. The Nolans Project, 135 kilometres north of Alice Springs, is a fully permitted, construction-ready, single site ore-to-oxide project with an anticipated mine life of 38 years. As a fully integrated operation, Nolans will encompass a mine, process plant (comprising beneficiation, extraction and separation plants) and related infrastructure. The Project is strategically located in the Northern Territory and is recognised as a globally significant and strategic NdPr project which, once developed, will become a major supplier of these critical minerals to the high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet market. The Nolans Project has made strong progress during the first half of FY2026 and remains on track towards a Final Investment Decision (FID), subject to completion of funding and offtake arrangements. Hatch has been appointed as EPCM contractor for the Nolans Project. Arafura are transitioning execution management of the Project to Hatch, and as the execution plan and procurement packaging are finalised, Hatch will be the primary contact for procurement and contracting engagement. For more information about the Project, refer to the company website: https://www.arultd.com/ Scope The scope of work includes the design, supply, QA/QC, and preparation for shipment of shop fabricated FRP tanks. The Supplier shall provide a complete and fully functional tank package, including all equipment, accessories, materials, and services necessary to achieve the specified performance, whether or not explicitly identified in the requisition. The scope includes: Complete FRP tanks, including shell, bottom, and roof Manways, cleanout doors, drains, nozzles, flanges, blind flanges, and associated gaskets, studs, and fasteners Access platforms, ladders, handrails, and cages in accordance with AS 1657, where specified Internal and external tank components such as baffles, bracing, sparge rings, riser pipes, upcomers, vents, overflow systems, moat/vapour seals, and seal pots as required by the datasheets Linings, fixings, under-tank compressible boards, coatings, seals, earthing lugs, anchor chairs, and insulation support cleats Equipment identification, warning labels, and nameplates Lifting lugs, transport bracing, saddles, frames, and protection suitable for transportation and handling Spare gaskets and hydrotest-related consumables Touch-up paint for site installation Design of anchor chairs and nomination of hold-down bolt sizes, with hold-down bolts and associated hardware supplied by others All equipment shall be supplied complete with any ancillary items, accessories, and services required for a safe, operable, and compliant installation. Contractor Requirements Interested parties must provide resources that illustrate their capabilities specific to the contract on offer Interested parties must demonstrate their industry performance and compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems Supplier is to confirm whether equipment of this nature has been provided by them previously, with relevant references to earlier projects Information Requested The following documents must be completed and uploaded to ICN Gateway as part of the EOI submission: Completed Prequalification documentation (H366551-PM020-311-024-0001-AP02), including requested documentation and supporting documentation Completed Confidentiality Agreement (H366551-PM020-311-024-0001-AP03), with all highlighted sections completed and submitted in native format. The final document will subsequently be circulated for e-signing by both parties Contract Terms and Conditions Key Milestones, Tender Period: August to September 2026 Approximate Duration, Execution Phase: Commence Q4-2026 to Q1-2029 Instructions to Tenderers Interested parties are invited to express an interest in this package by registering on the ICN Gateway online platform. This EOI will be used, in part, to establish a list of potential tenderers, providing a general understanding of their capabilities to execute the scope outlined. The EOI will be coupled with subsequent steps and stages in the tender process to be adopted by Arafura Nolans Project Pty Ltd (the "Company"), and applicants' response to this EOI shall not form any part of a commitment or agreement with or on behalf of the Company to proceed or contract with responding parties.
