About this tender
Overview Litchfield Council is seeking an appropriately resourced and experienced contractor to undertake sealed pavement maintenance works as required across the local road and shared path network within the Litchfield Municipality. About Council is responsible for managing and maintaining its local sealed road network to provide a safe, functional and serviceable road system for the community to support the social, cultural and economic prosperity of the Litchfield Municipality. Council's roads, driveway crossovers, and shared paths play an important role in supporting the local community and economy. Purpose The Period Contract is intended to provide Council with access to an appropriately resourced and experienced contractor to undertake routine and programmed maintenance that preserves the condition and serviceability of sealed pavements and extends the useful life of road assets. Scope The scope includes: Sealed pavement maintenance works as required across the local road and shared path network Additional unscheduled works as directed by the Superintendent, provided those works are consistent with the nature and scope of the Contract Contractor Requirements Appropriately resourced and experienced in undertaking sealed pavement maintenance works Contract Terms and Conditions This is a Period Contract The Superintendent may direct the Contractor to undertake additional unscheduled works, provided those works are consistent with the nature and scope of the Contract
