Council (GRC) requires qualified and experienced Contractor/s complete the design and construction of bridge works at the following locations in West Gladstone: 1. Police Creek Bridge, Cemetery Road, West Gladstone – Lot 8 on CP883527 and Lot 347 on SP116454 2. Lions Park Pedestrian Bridge, 95 Dawson Highway, West Gladstone Both structures are currently in poor condition and require intervention to ensure continued safe public use. The primary objectives of this project are to: 1. Extend the service life of the heritage-listed Police Creek Bridge in accordance with the approved heritage recommendations and associated development approval conditions. 2. Replace the existing deteriorated timber structure at Lions Park with a structurally sound, durable, and low-maintenance pedestrian bridge. 3. Deliver compliant, safe, and accessible infrastructure that meets current standards for pedestrian and cyclist use while optimising whole-of-life performance and maintenance outcomes.
