Overview The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking prequalified members for the Independent Financial Auditor (IFA) Panel to deliver financial audits under the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP). About The Bruce Highway is a 1,673 kilometre north-south corridor connecting Brisbane to Cairns. In January 2025, the Australian and Queensland governments announced a joint funding commitment of $9 billion towards the BHTSP to enhance safety and uplift deficient sections of the highway to achieve a three-star rating. The BHTSP focuses on sections of the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Cairns with a high safety risk. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of financial audits under the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program Financial audits will be awarded to prequalified members of the Independent Financial Auditor (IFA) Panel Contract Terms and Conditions IFA Panel members may be engaged to deliver a project under the Professional Services Preferred Supplier Panel Arrangement No: GGS0111-24, Quality Assurance and Risk Category, Financial Assurance and Risk subcategory
