CQUniversity Australia (CQUniversity) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced developers, investors, and operators to design, develop, deliver and/or operate purpose-built student accommodation to support the growing student demand at its campuses in regional Queensland. CQUniversity is open to traditional and innovative commercial, delivery and operating models, and encourages proponents to propose solutions that are financially sustainable, student-centred, and operationally efficient. This EOI is intended to approach the market and seek information to allow the University to realistically consider available options to finalise a potential preferred approach to student accommodation provision, particularly at its Mackay and Bundaberg campuses, although we are also interested in expanding student accommodation across our entire regional footprint. For detailed information on the specific services sought under this tender, please review the “Expression of Interest” document attached.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
