About this tender
Overview Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers to supply and deliver suitable fill material to the Coolum site for stockpile. Individual offers to supply should be of quantities generally in excess of 1,000 cubic metres. About EDQ owns approximately 53 hectares of undeveloped land at Research St, Coolum Beach (Lot 904 SP251584). The site is proposed for the development of Stage 2 of the Coolum Eco Industrial Park. Stage 2A is presently under construction. Scope The scope includes: Supply and delivery of suitable fill material to the site for stockpile Delivery of fill material in quantities generally in excess of 1,000 cubic metres per individual offer Delivery to site on dates directed and approved by the project engineer Contractor Requirements Fill must be inert material, free of contamination, including for acid sulphates Fill must have a minimum 5 day soaked California bearing ratio (CBR) value of 3% Maximum rock size of 150mm Suppliers must advise the source of the fill Fill must not be sourced from a declared fire ant area unless treated and cleared Geotechnical certification and/or any other information to determine the quality and suitability of fill must be provided if requested, to the satisfaction of EDQ's project engineers Suppliers must have all necessary permits and approvals for the source of the fill material and for haulage to EDQ's site Suppliers must provide documented verification of the quantity of fill delivered, to the satisfaction of EDQ's project engineer, including evidence of delivery and quantity delivered (e.g. delivery dockets) Contract Terms and Conditions This Expression of Interest will remain open for a period of 12 months Payment will be made after delivery and placement Invoices are subject to certification by EDQ's project engineer Instructions to Tenderers During the period this Expression of Interest remains open, suppliers can respond by submitting a Quote to Supply document.
