Overview Western Downs Regional Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a development proposal through the lease of land within Russell Park, Bunya Mountains. The opportunity is open to experienced developers and investors to submit proposals for the delivery of high-end tourism accommodation at Russell Park, in line with Council's Economic Development Strategy 2023-2028 and Tourism and Destination Events Strategy 2023-2028. Scope The scope includes: Lease of land within Russell Park, Bunya Mountains, comprising approximately 2.37 hectares within Lot 5 on RP46591 Development and delivery of high-end tourism accommodation on the Property Contractor Requirements The opportunity is particularly suited to proponents with demonstrated capability in: Experience with Cultural Heritage and First Nations engagement High-end tourism accommodation Low-impact, sustainable design and construction that complements the natural aesthetics and character of the Bunya Mountains
