Overview The Magnetic Island Bowls Club is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the rectification and replacement of its existing synthetic bowling green at 18 Marine Parade, Arcadia, Queensland. About The project has been funded through the Queensland Government Sport and Recreation Recovery Grant following significant damage caused by severe weather and flooding events in early 2025. Scope The scope includes: Removal of the existing synthetic surface and underlying materials Reconstruction of the pavement and drainage systems Rectification of subgrade conditions Installation of a new synthetic bowling green surface Associated edge and ditch works Testing and certification Project handover Contractor Requirements Contractors will be required to deliver a fully compliant and operational facility in accordance with Bowls Australia standards, civil engineering documentation and project specifications Instructions to Tenderers Civil Design is being completed and will be released as an Addendum during the tender period.
