Overview McKinlay Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the provision of lawn mowing and associated yard maintenance services for Council properties on a fixed service schedule. This tender is for a fixed schedule of lawn mowing services at nominated Council properties and other specified locations. Tenderers are required to submit pricing and information for the services described in the Scope and Response Schedules. During the Term, Council may also request additional lawn mowing, yard maintenance or related works by mutual agreement between Council and the successful Tenderer. Scope The scope includes but is not limited to labour by a licensed and experienced person or persons, plant and equipment for total maintenance of lawns, including: Mowing Whipper snipping Pruning Weeding Poisoning as per the directive given for each property (no poisoning permitted unless agreed to in writing by Council) Yard maintenance will be required at Council Residences, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Client Residences, McIntyre Park and Father Bill Busuttin Community Centre as directed by Council staff in the Julia Creek Township. Contractor Requirements Suppliers and their Personnel are to undergo a national criminal history record check, to be renewed every three (3) years as required under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Suppliers and their Personnel are to adhere to Associated Provider requirements under the Aged Care Act 2024 and as outlined in Associated Provider Schedule (Response Schedule 5) Unless otherwise directed by Council, copies of the following policies and licences for the Supplier and each member of the Supplier's Personnel (where applicable) are to be provided to Council prior to engagement: Workers Compensation Policy, Public Liability Insurance Policy, Blue Card, Drivers Licence, and Police Check Contract Terms and Conditions Council intends for the contract to commence on 1 November 2026 and end on 30 October 2027 (the "Term") The Principal may extend the Term, at its discretion, for a further 12 months by giving written notice to the successful Tenderer Tenderers must be able to provide the fixed lawn mowing services for the nominated properties and schedules, unless otherwise agreed by Council The successful Tenderer will be required to enter into a contract with Council for the provision of the fixed lawn mowing and associated yard maintenance services described in this Request for Tender, including the properties, frequencies and pricing schedules set out in the Response Schedules and Part 4, Standard Terms and Conditions, Yard Maintenance Services Payment is to be made in accordance with the accepted pricing and agreed service requirements Council may request additional lawn mowing, yard maintenance or related works during the Term where those works are agreed in writing between Council and the successful Tenderer Lawns are to be mowed every fortnight in summer and every three (3) weeks in winter Scheduled days need to be consistent and are to be agreed with the CHSP Coordinator, and forms are to be completed and submitted upon completion of service Pricing Structure Father Bill Busuttin Centre / McIntyre Park: monthly fee taking into consideration twice per fortnight in summer months, once every three weeks in winter months CHSP Lawn Mowing: per visit fee taking into consideration twice per fortnight in summer months, once every three weeks in winter months Council Housing (as required by Council): per visit fee for a "Large Yard" (200 square metres) and "Small Yard" (200 square metres), dependent on scale and regularity of services required Other Council facilities (as required by Council): pricing negotiated per job, dependent on scale and regularity of services required Information Requested Tenderers are required to submit pricing and information for the services described in the Scope and Response Schedules, including Part 5, Yard Maintenance Tender, Response Schedules, and the Associated Provider Schedule (Response Schedule 5).
