Mobile Carrier Reception Improvement Managed Services
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The University of Queensland (UQ) is inviting interested suppliers to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) on solutions and market capabilities to improve mobile carrier coverage across selected UQ locations. This RFI is an open market engagement process for information-gathering purposes only. It does not constitute an invitation to tender, a request for quotation, or any other procurement process, and does not create any commitment or obligation on UQ to proceed with a procurement or award a contract. Purpose The information obtained through this RFI will assist UQ in understanding available solutions and will inform the development of any future procurement requirements. Information Requested UQ is seeking information on carrier-neutral, multi-carrier solutions and related managed services, including support, maintenance and future expansion capabilities. Suppliers should refer to the RFI document for further details, including the scope of information requested and response requirements. Instructions to Respondents RFI Open Date: 09/09/2026 Clarifications Close Date: 18/09/2026 2:00 PM AEST Interested suppliers must first register into the portal, view the tender documents, and then submit an offer using the UQ tendering portal, UQProcure. An instructional video is available on the Buyer Attachments page to guide suppliers through the platform and how to submit a response to this RFI. Responses save as suppliers progress through the pages, however suppliers are encouraged to save their progress regularly while completing the form. If suppliers have any questions about using UQProcure, they should contact the UQProcure support team.
How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
