Overview Brisbane South PHN is seeking a provider for the Moorooka Medicare Mental Health Centre, designed to offer a welcoming, low stigma, soft entry point to engagement, assessment and treatment for people who may be experiencing distress or crisis, complex situations, or who need support in a timely manner, including many Australians who may not meet the eligibility criteria for existing primary care services. Scope The scope includes: Provision of immediate access to support at the Moorooka Medicare Mental Health Centre Delivery of short and medium-term episodes of care Service navigation to connect people to ongoing services Provision of on-the-spot care, advice and support for adults seeking help in times of crisis or as needs emerge, provided by mental health professionals without a prior appointment Delivery of multidisciplinary mental health services Collaborative working across the Medicare Mental Health network, including the Medicare Mental Health Phone Service
