Provision of Culvert Jacking & Associated Works

Overview RoadTek, operating under the Department of Transport and Main Roads (QLD), is undertaking Project 51-006875, 3 Mile Ck Culvert Jacking, located 33 km south of Miriam Vale on the Bruce Highway in Central Queensland. RoadTek is inviting capable suppliers to tender for the installation of 3/3600 reinforced concrete pipes (RCP) using culvert jacking methods and the demolition and removal of the existing 3/3900 corrugated steel pipes (CSP). About This tender has been re-issued with the updated location of the replacement culverts. Scope The scope includes: Installation of 3/3600 reinforced concrete pipes (RCP) using culvert jacking methods Demolition and removal of the existing 3/3900 corrugated steel pipes (CSP) Contractor Requirements The winning tender will be able to competently provide the following: Demonstrated ability to meet TMR standards A history of jacking similar sized pipes Works procedures that meet MRTS141 requirements Proposed works procedures outlining the method of jacking, including level control and removal of spoil Details of what RoadTek is to construct and provide prior to the subcontractor arriving on site
