About this tender

Overview Metro South Health (MSH) is seeking information from the market on electronic register solutions to support the management of Schedule 8 (S8) and Monitored medicines across a Hospital and Health Service environment. About MSH currently uses paper-based registers in a range of settings, including wards, units, pharmacy, community services and correctional health. While these processes support current record-keeping requirements, they are labour-intensive, prone to manual error, difficult to audit, and do not provide real-time visibility of stock movements, balances or compliance issues. Purpose MSH is interested in understanding whether suitable electronic solutions are available that could improve accuracy, security, reporting, auditability and workflow efficiency, while supporting compliance with Queensland legislative and policy requirements, including the Medicines and Poisons Act 2019 (Qld) and supporting regulations and standards. This Request for Information (RFI) is for market sounding only and is not a commitment to purchase or proceed to a later procurement stage. Information gathered will help MSH understand product capability, implementation considerations, integration opportunities and indicative costs. Scope The scope includes: Provision of information on electronic register solutions for the management of Schedule 8 (S8) and Monitored medicines Information on solution suitability across multiple sites and settings within MSH Information on operation within a complex digital environment, including potential integration with systems such as the Patient Administration System (HBCIS), Pharmacy Information System (iPharmacy), Electronic Medical Record (Oracle Millennium/ieMR, MetaVision), Automated Dispensing Cabinets (BD Pyxis ES) and other storage or pharmacy automation technologies

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
