Vickers Rd PS C6B Diversion Project - Stage 1 Rising Main Construction

Overview The City of Townsville is seeking a contractor for the Vickers Rd PS C6B Diversion Project, Stage 1 Rising Main Construction. About Townsville City Council (Council) owns and operates the sewer pump station network across the Townsville Local Government Area. Pump Station C6B (PS C6B), located off North Vickers Road in Condon, services the eastern Condon and Rasmussen catchment and currently discharges sewage to the Condon Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) via a DN600 GRP common pressure main. Purpose The licensed treatment capacity at Condon STP will not accommodate the future planned residential development in the Upper Ross sewer catchment. Council's adopted infrastructure strategy involves diverting flow from PS C6B to the Mount St John STP via a new sewer pressure main system.
