VNI-009-Fencing and Barriers- Partner - Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032

This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the provision of fencing and barrier systems to support the secure, safe, and efficient operation of Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues and precincts. These systems will be critical for crowd management, access control, perimeter security, and operational zoning across a wide range of temporary and permanent environments. Brisbane 2032 estimates a requirement across 40 to 50 competition and key non-competition venues for fencing and barriers (in addition to security fencing captured in a separate package) that between 50,000 and 100,000 linear metres will be needed. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: Supply, delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of fencing and barrier systems including: Temporary perimeter fencing (e.g. mesh, hoarding, or solid panel). Vehicle mitigation barriers (e.g. bollards, concrete or steel barriers). Access gates for vehicles and pedestrians. Branding-compatible fencing solutions for sponsor and wayfinding integration. Coordination with venue operators, overlay contractors, and security teams to ensure timely deployment and effective integration with broader operational plans. Compliance with relevant Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC), and Games-specific technical specifications, with relevant building, safety, and accessibility standards, including WHS regulations, DDA requirements, and temporary structure codes. Decommissioning and removal of all fencing and barrier infrastructure post-Games, with consideration for reuse or recycling where possible. Respondents should demonstrate experience in supplying fencing and barrier systems for large-scale, multi-site events or infrastructure programs, with the capacity to respond flexibly to evolving site conditions and operational requirements.
